Work included forensic reconstruction of historical balances to establish accurate ownership timelines and beneficial control. Also identified and assessed NFT assets, with individual and collection valuations exceeding NZD $50,000+, applying fair market valuation at the relevant separation dates. Expert testimony supported court-ordered disclosure, enabling equitable asset division across both liquid and illiquid digital holdings.

In court, delivered simplified explanations to the jury outlining what cryptocurrency is, how blockchain ledgers function, and how wallet attribution and transaction tracing are conducted. Testimony also covered laundering methodologies, obfuscation techniques, scam typologies, and the transactional patterns used by the defendant to move and disguise funds.

Engaged as independent forensic specialist in relationship property proceedings involving suspected undisclosed cryptocurrency assets. Materials provided were heavily redacted, with analysis limited to transaction dates and approximate fiat values, requiring blockchain correlation without wallet addresses or full transaction identifiers. Using forensic tracing methodologies, on-chain activity was filtered and pattern-matched across thousands of transactions spanning from early 2021 onward, representing multimillion-dollar cumulative volumes.
